Terms & conditions
The rules of the site and the main framework of working together. The details of each booking are in the proposal and the contract.
Updated –
These terms apply to the site cecicapture.com, enquiries, bookings and photography services, client galleries, digital delivery, prints and albums under the CECICAPTURE brand. CECICAPTURE is the photography brand of Tsvetan Georgiev, Sofia, Bulgaria, not a separate legal entity.
I am not VAT-registered. Prices on the site and in proposals are in euro and final – no VAT is added.

- Galleries, delivery, prints and albums: gallery@cecicapture.com
- Editorial and commercial projects: studio@cecicapture.com
- Legal matters, copyright and image use: legal@cecicapture.com
01Copyright and use of the site
All photographs, aerial images, text and design elements on the site are protected by copyright and belong to Tsvetan Georgiev unless stated otherwise. Copying, downloading, editing, distributing, commercial use or use for training artificial-intelligence models without written permission is not allowed.
The content of the site is informational. Only the prices, timelines and terms in the specific proposal or contract are binding.
02Booking and payment
- A date is held once you have accepted the proposal and the contract – signed on paper or electronically, or confirmed expressly by email – and the booking deposit has been received.
- The amount of the deposit and the payment schedule are set out in the proposal and the contract.
- The photographs, the gallery, the files and any products ordered are released once payment is complete. The right to use the photographs also begins with full payment.
- Travel, accommodation, location and permit fees, extra hours and products are charged separately unless they are included in the collection.
- If a payment is late, I may pause editing, delivery or gallery access until it is received.
03Cancellation and changing the date
- If you cancel a booking, please tell me in writing as early as possible. The deposit and amounts paid may be kept to the extent they reflect the reserved date, the work already done and costs reasonably incurred – as the contract sets out and within the limits of the law.
- Changing the date, time or place is possible if I am free; additional costs may apply. If we cannot find a suitable new date, the change is treated as a cancellation.
- If I am personally unable to attend because of serious illness, injury or an emergency, I will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable photographer I trust. If no replacement can be arranged and the service cannot be provided, I refund the fees paid for the photography service not performed, less any non-refundable third-party costs agreed separately or permitted by law.
04Style, creative control and expectations
- Photography is a creative service. The photographs on the site and on social media show earlier work but do not guarantee an identical result – light, weather, place, schedule and people shape every story.
- Photographing, selection, editing, colour, black and white, cropping and retouching are my creative decisions, within what was agreed.
- I am glad to take your preferences and a list of important people and moments into account, but specific frames, poses, reactions, the weather or a repeat of an earlier image cannot be guaranteed.
- I am open to a wide range of ideas, but I may decline a session, a project or a type of image that does not fit my work, my style or my values. This applies to every kind of photography, not only boudoir and creative projects.
- For more unusual, conceptual or extravagant projects, please share a vision in advance – references, a moodboard, ideas for the place, styling and mood – so we can judge together whether and how it can be done.
- Some expectations cannot be met: light, weather and place have their own rules. A misty, rainy image like one from Iceland cannot be made at three in the afternoon on a sunny beach in Greece. I will tell you honestly what is realistic and suggest the best possible alternative.
05Delivery, RAW files and galleries
- The number of photographs, the format and the delivery time are in the proposal or contract. Timelines are estimates unless expressly agreed as binding.
- Only the selected, edited photographs are delivered. RAW files, unedited and rejected frames are not provided.
- The photographs are delivered in a private online gallery. The platform is chosen by me and may change; galleries are currently at gallery.cecicapture.com or another address I send you.
- The link, password and download codes are your responsibility – share them only with people you trust.
06Gallery availability and archive
- Galleries stay active for at least one year after publication unless the contract says otherwise. After that I may extend, archive, hide, move or switch them off.
- Download and keep a copy of your photographs while the gallery is active. Re-uploading or restoring a gallery after that may be charged.
- The archive I keep is separate from the gallery and does not mean the gallery stays available for ever. How the archive is kept is described in the Privacy policy.
07How you may use the photographs
- Copyright stays with me. You receive a licence for personal use: to view the photographs, print them for yourself, share them with family and friends and post them on your personal profiles.
- With written permission: commercial and advertising use, use by brands and suppliers (venues, agencies, make-up artists, designers), press and blogs, competitions, resale, licensing to third parties and training artificial-intelligence models.
- Please do not edit the photographs, add filters, run them through apps or AI tools (enhancing, expanding, retouching) or remove the signature or metadata without my agreement. Cropping to fit a social-media format is fine as long as it does not distort the image.
- When you share photographs publicly, I would be glad if you tag @cecicapture.
08Publication and private commissions
- Publishing photographs from your wedding or session – in a portfolio, on the site, on social media, in competitions, exhibitions or publications – is a separate permission in the contract, in which you choose where. You may decline.
- Withdrawing a permission applies from then on. Material already printed and publications already released cannot always be recalled, and copyright does not change.
- If you need complete discretion – no publication, no showing to future clients, no competition or vendor submissions, and additional restrictions on how the files are handled – this can be agreed in writing as a Private Commission, on a separate proposal.
09Additional editing
- The delivered photographs are finished in my style. Additional editing – different colour, more black and white, heavy retouching, body alterations, removing people or objects, replacing skies or backgrounds, third-party presets or imitating another photographer – is not included.
- At my discretion I may adjust a limited number of individual frames for an additional fee agreed in advance.
10Children
I publish photographs of children only with the written consent of a parent or guardian that names the child, and I ask older children as well. I never publish nude or semi-nude photographs of babies or children, even with consent. I may decline any pose, clothing or idea that is not safe or appropriate for the child.
11Boudoir and intimate sessions
- For people aged 18 or over only – never for minors, even with a parent’s consent. I may ask to see proof of age, which I only look at, without copying or keeping it.
- The galleries are private. Publication anywhere requires a separate written permission that names exactly where.
- Prints and albums with these photographs go to a lab only when you order or approve them.
- I may decline a concept, pose or use that is unsafe, degrading, unlawful or inconsistent with professional standards.
12Destination work and travel
- Photography abroad follows the rules of the country, the venue and the local authorities – permits, restricted areas, religious and cultural limits, drone rules.
- Please tell me in advance about known venue restrictions, required permits or security rules. Permissions that depend on you, the venue, the organiser or the wedding planner are arranged by you unless we agree otherwise.
- If photography is limited or prevented by local rules, a decision of the authorities, a refused permit, a border problem, the weather, transport or another reason beyond my control, I am not liable for the missed images. Work already done and non-refundable costs – travel, accommodation, permits – may be kept or charged, as far as the contract and the law allow.
- If the restriction is caused by incorrect information or a missing permission that depends on you, the venue or the organiser, the reasonable documented costs it causes are yours.
- The details – travel costs, arrival, payment schedule – are in the individual proposal.
13Drone
- I hold the remote-pilot competence for the open category (A1/A2/A3). I fly only where it is permitted and safe – under EU rules and those of the country concerned, and within the limits of the venue, the weather, the people around and the airspace.
- No specific aerial image, route, height or duration is guaranteed in advance. I may refuse or end a flight for reasons of safety, law, weather, equipment or privacy. If a flight is not possible, this is not a breach of the contract.
14Prints, albums and custom products
- They are made to your order by a professional lab; production and delivery times depend on it.
- Albums are produced after you approve the layout. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled, to the extent the law allows.
- Slight differences in colour, brightness, paper or finish compared with a screen are not a defect.
15Outside services and technical failure
- The work relies on outside services – hosting, galleries, cloud storage, email, calendar, labs and couriers. I am not liable for outages, data loss, errors or delays they cause, except where the law provides otherwise. If a platform becomes unavailable, I will look for another way to deliver.
- Photography carries technical risk. I work with dual card slots, backup equipment and several archive copies. If, despite reasonable professional care, photographs are lost or damaged through sudden failure, theft, an accident or another event beyond my control, my liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service, to the extent the law allows.
- Nothing in these terms limits my liability where the law does not allow it – including intent or gross negligence.
16Force majeure
I am not liable for delay or inability to perform caused by events beyond my reasonable control – illness, accident, extreme weather, natural disaster, transport and border restrictions, decisions of the authorities, war, civil unrest, an epidemic or widespread technical outages. I will tell you as soon as I can and we will look for a solution together. If the service becomes impossible, amounts paid are settled according to the work done, non-refundable costs and the law.
17Your part
- accurate information about the date, place, schedule and people;
- telling me in advance about venue restrictions, cultural or religious rules and sensitive moments;
- the permissions that depend on you, the venue or the organiser;
- reasonable cooperation during the photography;
- downloading and keeping the photographs while the gallery is active;
- using the photographs within what was agreed.
18Gift cards
- Gift cards are ordered on the “Gift cards” page. The prices there are in euro and final.
- Card payment takes place on Stripe’s secure page (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland). Your card details never pass through this site and I never see them. If card payment is not possible, I write to you with bank transfer details.
- The order is confirmed once the payment is received. The gift card number then arrives by email, and within two working days the card as a PDF – to you, or straight to the recipient on the date you chose.
- The gift card is valid for 12 months from payment. The session date is booked with the number on the card, subject to availability; for the Artistic session we talk about the idea first.
- The gift card is valid for whoever holds it and can be passed on. Its value can go towards a larger service, such as a wedding collection. It cannot be exchanged for cash.
- You can withdraw from the order within 14 days of payment, without giving a reason, as long as the gift card has not been used – simply write to hello@cecicapture.com. I refund the full amount within 14 days of hearing from you, by the same means you paid.
- If I am unable to hold the session, we agree a new date; if that is not possible within the validity of the gift card, I refund what was paid.
- A photograph you upload for the card is used for that card only and is deleted automatically after 90 days.
19Right of withdrawal and consumer rights
- Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a distance contract, it will be respected. Some services and products may be excluded from it or limit it where the law provides – services tied to a specific date or period, services already begun at your request, custom-made products and digital content.
- Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
20The contract comes first
- The proposal, the contract and the consent forms govern your specific booking. Where they differ from these terms, the specific written contract prevails, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Contracts, consents and confirmations may be signed and accepted electronically – including a signature on screen, a scanned signed document or an express confirmation by email.
21Governing law and disputes
- Bulgarian law applies, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of another country provide otherwise.
- We will first try to settle any question by talking. If that is not possible, the dispute goes to the competent court determined under the applicable law.
