Weddings

I photograph weddings the way I would tell a friend about them: in the order they happen, with the people who were actually there. There is no shot list holding me at arm’s length from the moment. There is attention – to the light, to the gesture, to the silence between two toasts.

I work across Bulgaria and anywhere else worth travelling to. I know when to stand two steps away and when to disappear from the room.
